    Hi Tania,
    I have a convection oven and I didn’t know I could cook frozen food with it.
    But as you say the meat turns out nice to eat so I may have try that next time as I do all the cooking at home and it’s all about doing it quick and easy.
    In summer I use the BBQ and plenty of fresh garden salads as it’s too hot and messy to cook inside.
    I have been using the crock pot as the weather has cooled now but I will seriously consider using the convection oven next time and try it myself.

    This oven is an amazing piece of equipment. I liked that part where you said you just had to wait for the “ding” and it is cooked. Like Keith I have just started using the slow cooker but it sounds like the two are really for different purposes.

      Hi Jenny, both the convection oven and the slow cooker are about saving time in the kitchen. Both are essential in mine. I’m looking forward to some home cooked soups, stews and braised dishes during winter.

    I’m amazed at just what can be achieved with a convection oven. Being able to cook from frozen is great – much better than putting food in the microwave to defrost.

      Hi Jan, I keep finding things I can cook in the convection oven :) I used to defrost pies, then put them in the oven, then have to remember to remove them. Not any more, it’s just in the convection oven and enjoy.

    What a nifty little device. It is such a waste to heat up a normal size oven to cook one pie. The convention oven is ideal and a good energy saver.

    Thanks for sharing this great post! Convection oven is the sure way on time saving in the kitchen. Now I know I can use it to save even more time on the frozen food!
