Buy a Countertop Convection Oven

Buy a Countertop Convection Oven

You’ve watched the commercial information shows, you’ve heard friends talking about them, someone has recommended you buy one and now it’s time to Buy a Countertop Convection Oven.

It is very easy.  Most department stores, large appliance stores and shops online such as Amazon.com sell the ovens.  It comes down to 3 main choices:

  1. Deciding on your price range and how much do you want to spend
  2. Delivery/pick up time and how long do you want to wait to receive it
  3. What style of oven do you want

Price Range

You can spend as little at $50 and as much as $400 when you buy a Countertop Convection Oven.  It comes down to how much do you want to spend.  My recommendation is to buy the best that you can afford.  Take some time and check reviews, look for specials and then buy the best on the day.  What you will get for your money is an oven that cooks faster and keeps food tasting delicious and moist.

Personally, I prefer the Round Countertop Convection Oven.  It’s large enough for my family needs and it’s so easy to clean.

Delivery/pick up time

If you want to pick it up yourself, check out your local stores to find an oven for you.

If you want it delivered, look at Amazon Countertop Convection Ovens to see what delivery times they have available as well as what offers are available at other online stores.  Find out if there are delivery charges and what is the best deal you can get.

Oven Style

It’s totally a personal preference.  The two main options available for the home buyer are the rectangle or round convection oven.  There are also microwave convection ovens available as well.

What you should do is find what style you think you would prefer.  Then if they are available in a store near you, go and look at them.  You don’t need to buy the first one you see.

Talk to the sales people and ask for recommendations.  The oven has to be what you like and what you can see will work for you.

  • Is the size of it big enough for your family?
  • Is there a bigger or smaller size?
  • How easy is it to clean?
  • Can you get replacement trays.
  • What is the warranty period.

As you ask these questions, you will get an idea of what will work for you and then find out where is the best deal.  Look in the local papers, check online and then buy a Countertop Convection Oven.

I look forward to your comments about how and why you bought your Countertop Convection Oven and in future posts I will talk more about what I have used my oven for.

    Hi Tania

It is good to hear the countertop convection ovens are easy to clean. When buying kitchen appliances, I always like to consider the cleaning. I also like the fact that they cook food faster and keep the food moist.

Hi Kerry, I replied to Jackie about how quick it is to clean. Putting food into the oven and knowing it will cook without constant checking is another great feature. I have perfect bacon every time I use it. Put it on for 10 mins at 170 deg C and I have perfect, crispy bacon just as an example of how great these ovens are.

I hope you buy one soon and let me know what you think of it.

The countertop convection oven has definately come down in price. I actually saw one on sale for $47 the other day. The ease of cleaning would convince me to purchase as I hate cleaning my oven after cooking a roast.

Jackie, the prices are really coming down at the moment. It’s end of financial year and the sales are making ovens (and everything else) very cheap. It’s really the right time to buy right now.

After cooking roast pork, I can set the oven to washing mode, then rinse and wash the glass bowl, wipe down the lid with a damp paper towel (power off) and the oven is cleaned and ready for the next use. Can’t do that with a big oven.

Let me know if you decide to buy.
